How Ascentix Swiss SA collects, uses, and protects personal data, both through this website and in the course of our advisory work.
1. Who We Are
Ascentix Swiss is a trading name of Ascentix SA (“Ascentix”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Switzerland under UID CHE-174.297.773, with its registered office at Place Saint-François 12bis, 1003 Lausanne. We are the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. It covers visitors to this website, and individuals we deal with in the course of our advisory work, including clients, prospective clients, beneficial owners, and representatives of counterparties.
3. What We Collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, company name if you choose to give it, and the content of your message
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email, telephone, or post
Our host records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the page that referred you, and the time of your request. These exist to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse. Our security provider sets a cookie to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. This site sets no other cookies for visitors who are not logged in.
Before entering a business relationship, Swiss anti-money laundering law requires us to identify and verify our clients. In that process we collect identification documents, information about beneficial owners, information about the source of funds and wealth, and details of the assets concerned. Our AML Policy sets out how that process works.
4. What We Do Not Do
We would rather be specific than vague:
- This website uses no analytics, no advertising, and no third party tracking of any kind
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data
- We do not run comments or public user accounts on this website
- We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal effects
5. Why We Use It, and on What Basis
- To answer your enquiry: because you asked us to, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services
- To provide our services: to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering one
- To meet legal obligations: including client due diligence, sanctions screening, and record keeping under Swiss anti-money laundering law
- To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest in protecting it from abuse
6. Who We Share It With
We share personal data only where there is a reason to:
- Service providers: this website is hosted by Kinsta and delivered through Cloudflare. They process data on our behalf and under contract
- Regulated partners and custodians: where a mandate requires it, for example to structure, issue, or list an instrument, we share what is necessary with the regulated partners involved
- Authorities: where the law requires, including reports to the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland (MROS). Where such a report is made, the law may prohibit us from telling you
- Our professional advisers: our lawyers and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality
We do not share your data with anyone else, and never for their own marketing purposes.
7. International Transfers
We are based in Switzerland. Some of our providers may process data outside Switzerland, including within the European Union. Where data is transferred to a country that does not offer an equivalent level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the relevant standard contractual clauses recognized in Switzerland and the EU.
8. How Long We Keep It
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: kept only as long as needed to deal with them, then deleted
- Client due diligence and transaction records: retained for at least ten years from the end of the business relationship or the date of the transaction, as Swiss law requires
- Server logs: kept for a short period, for security purposes only
9. Your Rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and provide a copy
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- delete data, where we are not required to keep it
- restrict or object to the way we use it
- provide it to you in a portable format
Write to info@ascentixswiss.ch and we will respond within the period the law allows. Please note that where anti-money laundering law requires us to retain records, we cannot delete them on request.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern. Where the GDPR applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live.
10. Security
We keep this site and its software up to date, restrict administrative access, apply multi factor authentication to administrative accounts, and require appropriate safeguards from our providers. No system is perfectly secure, but given the nature of the assets we advise on, we treat the protection of client information as a first order concern.
11. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. The date below records when it was last revised.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, or about the data we hold, should be sent to info@ascentixswiss.ch, or by post to Ascentix Swiss SA, Place Saint-François 12bis, 1003 Lausanne, Switzerland.
